Nam Song – Sheffield Coffee Festival 2025

Nǎm Sông is back for this year’s Sheffield Coffee Festival with a program filled to the brim of events championing Asia and it’s emerging reputation on the World Speciality Coffee Market. Running from Saturday 31st May to Sunday 1st June the city wide celebration of all things caffeinated makes a trip up to the bright Orange Coffee Shop in Broomhill where Nǎm Sông will be running events on both Saturday and Sunday for all the Sheffield Coffee Enthusiasts out there.

Saturday 31st May – 9am to 11am: Nǎm Sông Asian Origin Cupping

At Nǎm Sông we recently launched a new range of retail Coffees championing different origins exclusively from Asia. Our offerings include amazing speciality coffees from Thailand, Indonesia, China, India and Timor Leste and at this session you will have the chance to take part in a cupping for all our different varieties. We’ll explore the different stories behind each coffee and the farmers that grow it, talk through the different tasting notes behind each coffee as well as discuss Asia’s emerging prominence as a speciality Coffee producing region.

Skip your morning Coffee before heading down to Nǎm Sông for this one as you’ll get fully stocked up on caffeine at our Asian Origin Cupping Event that will leave you well fuelled to kick off your Sheffield Coffee Festival Weekend.

Tickets for this event are free and include all drinks and beverages you’ll be trying. Book your space on the Asian Coffee Cupping Event now by picking up a free ticket on the Nǎm Sông Online shop. Places are extremely limited so book fast to avoid disappointment.

Sunday 1st June – 9am to 11am: Vietnamese Coffee Deep Dive

The inspiration for Nǎm Sông began on the streets of Saigon after we tried the absolute icon that is Phin Filter Coffee for the first time. One sip of the strong bold Vietnamese Coffee mixed with dreamy Condensed Milk and we were hooked. So to help continue to spread the word of the mighty Phin in Sheffield we’re offering you the chance to deep dive into all things Phin. We’ll be exploring the history of the world famous beverage and how it’s shaped the whole country of Vietnam and Vietnamese Coffee Culture.

How does learning how to make your own Phin sound? Sounds good yeah! So relax on the cushions, smell the frshly ground Vietnamese Coffee and then sit back and drip drip drip your own famous Phin. Also, it’d be rude not to let you make your own Egg Coffee as well wouldn’t it? So you can do that too.

Once again, we advise to leave your morning Coffee at home before coming to Nǎm Sông for this event as you’ll be filled to the brim on caffeine at our Vietnamese Coffee Event.

Tickets for this event are free and include all drinks and beverages you’ll be trying. Book your space on our Vietnamese Coffee Event now by picking up a free ticket on the Nǎm Sông Online shop. Places are extremely limited so book fast to avoid disappointment.

Sunday 1st June – Doors 6pm – Music 7pm to 10pm: Nǎm Sôngs Closing Party

This is going to be a big one. The first ever Nǎm Sôngs Night. Music is an incredibly important part of Nǎm Sông (which is proven by the lofty 283 saves that our playlist has on Spotify) and to end Sheffield Coffee Festival 2025 we’re throwing a party featuring 3 local Sheffield DJs each playing a one hour set under the famous Nǎm Sông lanterns. The lights will be dimmed, the bar will be open and the good times will be flowing. Think a chilled out Boiler Room, but with a lot more lanterns. The acts will be announced soon so keep an eye on our instagram for updates (www.instagram.com/wearenamsong).

Tickets for this event are £3, all of which will be donated to our charity partner The Kianh Foundation to help fund the vital support they provide for children with disabilities in the Điện Bàn region of Vietnam. Tickets are very limited as we have a small capacity so book fast now on the Nǎm Sông Online Shop to avoid missing out on the first Nǎm Sôngs Night. Doors open at 6pm with the acts kicking off at 7pm. FAQs and more info on tickets can be seen on the ticket booking page, which can be access here: Ticket Info.

We can’t wait to celebrate Sheffield Coffee Festival with you all and welcome you through our bright Orange Door for all our our events we’ve got going on over the weekend. Remeber, we’ve got limited capacity for all our events so get booked in asap so you don’t miss out!
